How did I get here?

My Web Dev Journey

I came to coding and devlopment from a background in the arts. I was searching for a way to create and provide for my family while WFH. You see, I had a succesful career for 12 years working in salons and art but, I developed severe reactions due to chemical exposure. Coding + web development + design gave me a whole new canvas. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to create digitally.

When not writing code or creating something new, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Doug and our daughter, Olive. We enjoy pickleball, golf and a good lazy day by the pool.

I grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky and attended Western KY University before deciding to jumpstart my career in the arts.

Fun fact: I joined Walt Disney World Resort as an entertainer playing Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and Kim Possible.

My family and I now reside in SW Florida. I couldn't be more grateful for this coding journey and look forward to the future of web development.
